Fueling My Passion for Patient Advocacy with Over 20 Years of Nursing Experience
As a Master's-prepared Registered Nurse, I have worked across a wide range of healthcare settings, including emergency rooms, intensive care units, nursing homes, operating rooms, clinics, community care facilities, and hospital administration. Throughout these experiences, I have gained extensive knowledge and insight into the healthcare system.
The Most Fulfilling Work is in My Own Business
Over the past four years, I have personally corrected more than one million dollars in medical billing errors, attended hundreds of medical visits, and handled countless interactions with insurance companies. I’ve even been invited to be part of several clients' Christmas card pictures, a testament to the trusted a relationships I build
and the joy that's possible when people finally feel better.
Accountability and Emotional Support
I provide my clients with accountability and genuine emotional support. Having the assistance of a skilled Private Health Advocate transforms the complex medical care process. For many, it's the first time they've had a knowledgeable healthcare professional solely focused on their well-being. It’s an experience that brings peace of mind and confidence—one that must be felt to be fully appreciated.
A Trusted Partner in Healthcare Navigation
Clients often tell me that working with me is like having a trusted friend with 20 years of medical expertise. I’m the first call when they’re unsure of their next steps or when they know what needs to be done but can no longer do it alone. Time and again, I hear, "I don’t know how anyone manages without you."
One client even shared, "You’ve easily given me back 10 years of my life. I had forgotten what it was like not to constantly worry about my son’s medical care."
A "Native Speaker" of the Medical System
My clients are often surprised at how relieving it is to have someone who speaks the language of the medical system advocating on their behalf. Together, we plan, prepare, and act to minimize stress and avoid unexpected surprises. I help uncover benefits and options that clients might not even know to ask for.
Let me help you focus on what only you can do, while I take care of the rest.
